Afghan hound, husky, borzoi

The intelligent person's dog. The owner is successful but not boastful. They are at ease in all situations and are able to put others at ease too.

Airedale

Sign of romantics who seek a better world. They love children and will often marry young and raise a family. Make ideal teachers philosophers and social workers

Alsatian, Great Dane, Irish Wolfhound, Mastiff, Bull Terrier

Owned by independent type. Not the marrying kind. They tend to be loners, and a bit of mystery, but make trusted friends. They have lots of respect for very close friends

Basset Hound

A favourite with folk who are not good with money. They are sometimes eccentric. That is because they don't follow the going fad or fancy. They enjoy taking the initiative but they often need the help of others


Beagle or pointer

These people don't want to be thought as ordinary and tend to be snobby. They feel that having this dog gives them a touch of class. They don't always make it to the top of their chosen career


Bloodhound

Seen with well adjusted types with an impish sense of humour. They are able to do business, understand people and make excellent company executives.

Boxer

Owners are energetic, with get up and go attitude but not a great deal of finesse. They tend to be self opinionated, selfish and do well as salesman or in marketing.

Bulldog

Liked by people who make good gardeners, flower arrangers and painters. They like doing things that are out from ordinary and will often do well. They have a high opinion of themselves, but it is perfectly justified.


Chihuahua, Toy Poodle, Pekinese, Terriers

The choice of home lovers and family people. They enjoy being pampered and petted, but that doesn't make them weak and they can be ruthless to get what they want.


Collie, Old English Sheepdog

For fun loving folk who enjoy pranks, good food and drink, and he outdoor life. They love open top cars or four wheel drives. Likely jobs are farmers, doctors, scientist and artists.


Dachshund, Corgi, Jack Russell

These owners tend to be ruled by their heads rather than their hearts. People who can give them some of the good things in life have their total loyalty.


Dalmation

Owned by uncomplicated people who like to be noticed. They make good leaders, but occasionally they trample over other people's feelings.


Doberman Pinscher

These people have good taste, impeccable appearance and take pride in their homes. They like other people to stick to their rules.


Golden Retriever, Labrador

For strong characters who expect loyalty from others as freely as they give it. They are dogmatic and hard to shift from a point of view. They make good judges, shopkeepers and historians.


Poodle

Tend to live in a dream world, but often they make their dreams come true and get to the top in finance or show business. They will do any job where they don't have to work for others.

Popular types who make friends easily. Also hurt easily, they avoid confrontation. They hate being alone and rush into new relationships which when they don't work out, shatter them.


Mongrels

Chosen by easy going folk who are not pushy. Doing things by the book bores them. Easy with strangers and good at parties
